This year gor the first time the jury awarded Enviro-Research Prize to Eliška Mikulíčková from Senica for her research on drinking regime of honey bees and public awareness of bee roles in primary school Art classes.

From History
The 5th edition of the Envirodesign competition confirms its steady growth in both participation and quality. Previous highlights include the promotion of Nesting Island at the Kunovská Reservoir (2022), the joint campaign We Are at the Same Boat (2023), Frog Taxi for amphibian protection (2024), and the international project Clean Banks (2025).

Theme 2026: Bee Recruits
The project connects the world of bees with environmental education. The main outputs are: the campaign visual, an educational memory game, and the campaign logo.

Related Events
The project also includes the international literary competition Senica Thing (Join the Swarm), with results announced at SlavCon 2026 in Bratislava.
The exhibition runs until 6 May 2026.
A theatre performance Bee Recruits (Theater Fensterchen) will take place on 20 May 2026 at 17:00, on World Bee Day, including a presentation of the planned api-house project.
